Active Ingredients:

Not less than 50.0% Polysaccharides
Not less than 1.20% Triterpenoids: potential
agents for the chemoprevention and therapy of breast cancer [1]
Not less than 20.0% Beta-Glucan: dietary fibre

• Triterpenes have displayed robust effects in improving glycaemic tolerance, insulin secretion, and pancreatic B-cell function [1].
• Triterpenoids: potential agents for the chemoprevention and therapy of breast cancer [2]
• Triterpenes can inhibit enzymes involved in glucose metabolism, prevent the development of insulin resistance and normalize plasma glucose and insulin levels. Triterpenes
have also been found to manifest hypolipidemic and anti-obesity activity. Triterpenes are also promising agents in the prevention of diabetic complications. They have strong antioxidant activity and inhibit the formation of advanced glycation end products, implicated in the pathogenesis of diabetic
nephropathy, embryopathy, neuropathy or impaired wound healing [3].
• Beta-glucan can increase host immune defense by activating complement system, enhancing macrophages and natural killer  cell function. The induction of cellular responses by mushroom and other beta-glucans is likely to involve their specific interaction with several cell surface receptors, as complement receptor 3 (CR3;CD11b/CD18), lactosylceramide, selected scavenger receptors, and dectin-1 (betaGR). Beta-Glucans also show anticarcinogenic activity [4].
